  2. 3:15 p.m. Arrival and brief stop at the Salar de Otuma
  3. 4:00 p.m. Hike to Playón, birdwatching and flora observation
  4. 4:45 p.m. Continue on to Mendieta, short break
  5. 5:15 p.m. Hike to the main lookout point
  6. 5:45 p.m. Enjoying the golden sunset (SUNSET)
  7. 6:15 p.m. I walk back to the starting point

  2. 2:15 p.m. Departure by vehicle to the Reserve’s access checkpoint
  3. 2:30 p.m. Short stop at Playa Roja for photos (5–8 min)
  4. 2:45 p.m. Itmos Lookout: panoramic view of the peninsula
  5. 3:30 p.m. La Catedral Lookout and Supay Beach
  6. 4:15 p.m. Visit to Laguna Rosada and flamingo watching
  7. 5:00 p.m. Travel to El Playón and start of the hike (1 km)

Frequently Asked Questions

Both tours require good physical condition to walk 1-1.5 km on uneven terrain. No previous experience is required, but appropriate footwear is recommended.

Book online or at our office in Paracas. The fee (S/. 11) is payable in cash upon entry to the Reserve.

Tours are subject to change or cancellation due to adverse conditions. In such cases, we offer rescheduling or a full refund.

We recommend this for children ages 6 and older. Younger children must be accompanied by an adult.
