Ballestas Islands Tour
We have tours at 8:00 a.m.–9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
The Ballestas Islands tour takes place on a modern boat and lasts two hours. During the tour, we’ll see a geoglyph called “El Candelabro,” a cultural heritage site over 2,500 years old, measuring 170 meters in length and approximately 1.2 meters deep.
We then proceed to the three islands known as the “Ballestas Islands.” They feature unique tourist attractions, including extraordinary rock formations such as the Arco del Deseo and the Perfil de Cristo, among others. We’ll observe a wide variety of waterfowl, such as:
• Guano birds
• Scaups, among others,
• Humboldt penguins
• Pelicans
• Dolphins
• Sea lions
• There are more than 215 species of birds.
Golden Shadows – Premium Hiking in Paracas
This tour has as meeting point our office "Playa Roja Tours" in Paracas at 14:00 hours.
Giving a tolerance of 15 minutes.
Once all passengers are on board, we begin the tour, departing from Paracas in our vehicle with our driver, who specializes in this route. The first stop is at the entrance to the Paracas National Reserve; this is a checkpoint.
Continuing on the tour, our next stop is atPlaya Roja, where we’ll stay for about 5 to 8 minutes to take photos and enjoy the incredible view.
Continuing our tour, we'll visit theItmosoverlookon the peninsula, wherewe'll be able to see literally the entire Paracas National Reserve.
We'll continue on to the next overlooks:La Catedral and Playa Supay.
After this stop, we’ll head toEl Playon, where we’ll begin our approximately 1-kilometer hike, during which we’ll be able to enjoy the flora and fauna, the sunset, and views of part of the Pacific Ocean. Our final destination will beMendieta Beach,where our vehicle will be waiting to take us back to the city of Paracas.
This is a semi-private tour.
