FULL DAY PUNO

This tour starts with pick up from your hotel in Puno at 07:00 a.m.
Once all passengers are ready, we head to the Uros Floating Islands.

UROS:
It is a set of usual artificial surfaces built of totora, an aquatic plant that grows on the surface of Lake Titicaca.
The term "Uros" comes from Aimara "Qhana Urru" - "Qhana" means "clear" - "Uru" means "Day", therefore it means "Clear Day".
After having enjoyed the wonders of Uros, we head to Taquille.

TAQUILE:

Taquile Island, in Lake Titicaca, belongs to the district of Amantani, Puno, Peru. The island is located 45 km from Amantani, the regional capital. It has a population of about 2200 inhabitants.
This island has an incredible flora and fauna.
In this place we will take the opportunity to taste one of the typical dishes of the region (fish "chita" fried - soups).

After lunch, we start our return to Puno.
